Welcome to my creative process.

Hi, I’m Mary 👋 — artist, maker, and professional lover of transformation. My medium of choice is Precious Metal Clay (PMC), which is basically magic disguised as mud. I’m endlessly fascinated by the moment when soft, pliable clay alchemizes into solid, shiny, wearable art. That moment never gets old.

I create each piece with intention, curiosity, and a whole lot of heart. My hope? That every design carries a spark of joy, meaning, and maybe even a little wonder into the life of whoever wears it.

Now, here’s the part where things get delightfully layered. I’m not just one thing (who is?). I’m a mom of 3,, nature nerd, adventure seeker, daughter, snowboarder, mindfulness practitioner, nurse practitioner, sister, inaugural professor of nursing at WCU, explorer, friend, river paddler, meditator,, sober woman, and devoted guardian to one outrageously spoiled canine named Tupelo. I’m deeply committed to growth, service, and showing up with curiosity—both for myself and for the world around me.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and spent many years running an art studio in Salida, Colorado while raising my firstborn—who is now a fully grown, amazing human. Shes an artist too, creating awesome ceramics! In recent years, I’ve continued honing my craft through in-person study with my PMC and jewelry mentor in Tucson, Arizona. I’ve had the joy of teaching at the Art Center in Crested Butte, and I now offer private classes as well.

These days, when I’m not watching my teen boys play sports or fish, teaching nursing students, or practicing medicine, you’ll find me creating in my home studio overlooking the stunning Gunnison River, tucked into a truly magical Colorado valley. It’s here—between metal, fire, water, and a lot of intention—that the art comes to life.

Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.
